Akshay Kumar, the original khiladi of Bollywood, is Bollywood's king of all genres. He was described as a action hero in the 1990s. He soon turned romantic with films like Yeh Dillagi (1994) and Dhadkan (2000). In 2002, he won his first Filmfare Award under the Best Villain category, for Ajnabee (2001).

And then came Akshay's comic wave. His performances in films such as Hera Pheri (2000), Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Garam Masala (2005) and Singh is Kinng has further endeared him to fans.
