Get ready to see Om Puri in a sensuous item number, Shama Shama Jalti Hai, in his forthcoming film Mere Baap… Pehle Aap, directed by Priyadarshan. “It's a hard-hitting song, which I am sure will be big hit in clubs,” says Pony, the choreographer of the song.

The song, a dream sequence, has Om Puri in Goa along with new girl Vineeta. “Om Puri has donned three different looks and looks cute while singing rap sequences,” says Pony. “It was a hilarious sight watching him sing English words in his Punjabi accented voice. He would give his best crying 'Come on Baby' and we would burst out laughing.”

During the four-day shoot at Goa, Om Puri was a little shy. But his wife encouraged him to put his best foot forward.

Says Pony, “I remember he refused to dance on the yacht because he was not comfortable. But, I must say he has done a wonderful job.”

She adds, “It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity working with the legend himself.”
