Mumbai: Bollywood director Ram Gopal Verma said he and Mumbai-based Percept Pictures are to spend more than $25 million on two movies featuring strong casts of Hollywood actors.
Verma said one of the movies -- "Ek" -- will star Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek in key roles along with a number of Hollywood actors.
"Within", a suspense thriller, will feature Hollywood actors only and will be shot entirely in a Manhattan apartment. "'Within' will revolve around the fear factor that is present within each one of us, while 'Ek' will be based on nuclear terrorism," Verma told reporters in Mumbai.
'Within' will cost six million dollars and will be ready for release by the end of 2006, while 'Ek' will cost $20 million and will be released in 2007.
He said the final castings had yet to be done and declined to name the Hollywood actors he is negotiating with.
