Bunty Aur Babli launch Maruti Swift

Here's another one in the list of surrogate advertisements. Maruti Udyog have associated with Yash Raj Films for their upcoming film Bunty Aur Babli for launching their new car Swift. Both the movie and the car are set for a May 27 2005 release.

In a carefully planned move, the marketing whizkids associated with Swift have managed to strategically place the new car in the Shaad Ali-directed movie and the plan is to launch both products simultaneously on the same day.

However, neither Maruti nor the film production house is revealing the car's role in the movie. It's like revealing the climax of a thriller, was all Maruti officials were willing to say. We have done our part. Wait and watch the film, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, sources associated with the film said.
