Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2009

The glitziest, most-awaited fashion show of the year bowled the audience with its fantabulous collections. We're talking about the hottest lingerie, courtesy Victoria's Secret and its angels who hit the runway to put on a show Cirque du Soleil style - colourful and phantasmagoric!

A bombastic performance by the Black Eyed Peas, a choir, acrobats and a giant polka dot balloon dog in tow, couldn't drown out the spectacular accessories that included blinding jewels, faux fur, and thigh-high boots.

Heidi Klum has become the undisputed face of Victoria's Secret. The German supermodel however, made only one appearance on the runway but to thundering applause as she strode out of the castle-like set in a purple corset fitted in a half gown with tiers of tulle.

Both Klum and Fergie, lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas made a red carpet appearance far removed from their look on the runway. Also spotted on the red carpet was actress Michelle Trachtenberg.

Fergie treated the audience to hit numbers while modeling a green corset gown.

This year's themes took sexy innerwear to four new planes - Star Trooper (breast plates, body armour), Pink Planet that went boho, Enchanted Forest that showcased surreal lingerie, and Romantic Journey for those who dig fairy tales and lace.

Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Marissa Miller and Miranda Kerr, the most popular angels were all there. The latter most angel strutted in the skimpiest getup - a teeny black thong that could get snipped out in the TV run.
