The question we asked was: How would you write the last chapter of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? And the response we got was tremendous. Some users even though of incredible ways to resurrect the series. (Rowling, take note!)

Harry kills Lord Voldemort. Harry and his friends graduate from Hogwarts. Harry goes on to become a great wizard and later comes back to his alma mater as a teacher. Ron and Hermione get married. Their children later come to Hogwarts to learn magic. Then it is discovered that Lord Voldemort had a daughter who also comes to Hogwarts and trouble begins anew and the saga continues.

Deven Kanal, Mumbai Harry lured Voldemort into the Department of Mysteries for the last battle. Ron and Hermione took cover and shot spells at the Dark Lord to distract him. A frustrated Voldemort tried sending the killing curse at Ron and Hermione, but Harry jumps in front of them and gives up his life for his friends. The curse rebounds on Voldemort and Harry's sacrifice saves the world.
Ron and Hermione get married and name their first child Harry in memory of their best friend. They visit Harry's grave and the tombstone reads: "The boy who died so that the world could live."

Harry was sad, very sad. Though his scar no longer hurt, the duel with Voldemort had taken its toll. He vividly recalled how he faced the dark lord with nothing but a drawn wand between them. Hissing like a snake, Voldemort had uttered the killing curse, "Avada Kedavra!" But before the spell could hit Harry, Longbottom had stepped in between and got hit by the curse. Harry had waved his wand and cried, "Expelliarmus!" Devoid of his wand, Voldemort had looked vulnerable. Just as Harry was wondering how to kill him, Snape had arrived and shouted "Avada Kedavra!" And the Dark Lord had died.
“Oh Harry! Are you all right?” asked an anxious Hermione, emerging from a battle with Bellatrix, who had been overpowered by the aurors of the Ministry. Ron was close behind.

"I did it. He's dead. For Mum and Dad...," Harry mumbled softly as he tossed and turned in his bed. The Horcruxes were destroyed and Voldemort defeated. Lily Potter sighed softly as she looked down at her son in his hospital bed. Ever since the car accident shortly before his 11th birthday, he'd been in a coma. A tear slipped down her cheek as she stroked his unblemished forehead. Her husband, James, placed his hand on her shoulder. Just as they reached the door, however, a strangled yell echoed through the room and Harry sat up, breathing heavily, his eyes widening as he took in the scene around him. "Mum? Dad? Am I dead?" Lily was unable to speak as she held her son close, but James smiled broadly as he rang for the doctor. "No Harry, it was all just a dream." |
