New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday asked the Planning Commission to prepare by Monday a report on achievements of the government in different sectors that would later be made public.
The direction was given at a meeting Singh held with the plan panel members, informed sources said.
The report, sources said, would have an assessment of the government's achievements in the last five years and also pinpoint the weaknesses that need to be addressed.
Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and other members, including Kirit Parekh and Anwarul Hoda, were present at the meeting.
