Chennai: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched a microsite - www.marutisuzukiritz.com - to commemorate the upcoming launch of the country's first BS-IV compliant passenger car, Ritz, on May 15.
Key features of the interactive Ritz microsite include a countdown ticker showing the time left for Ritz to arrive, a fun online viral to watch and enjoy, interesting screensavers and car wallpaper, and a teaser that shows the shape of the car bit by bit when the cursor is moved over it.

These features apart, the microsite has multiple interesting games and puzzles. Ritz aficionados can win many prizes such as trolley bags, Puma T-shirts, and Ritz desk sets which consists of a pen holder, a mobile holder and attractive coasters.

There are two personalised sections titled 'share a moment' and 'read a moment', where surfers can contribute and read about other people’s fun car experiences. If entries are selected, the writers will win special Ritz merchandise.
Maruti Suzuki invites all interested car-lovers to register for a test drive online and feel the Ritz come alive. The microsite also provides regular updates on latest press information, releases and features.
Ritz is a tallboy hatchback, positioned in the premium A2 market segment. The Maruti Suzuki Ritz, adopts a contemporary European design and is positioned at the growing premium-end of the compact car market.
Ritz will be the first passenger car in India to be compliant with the BS-IV emission norms, in petrol as well as diesel variants. This is many months ahead of the BS-IV norms being applicable in India, reinforcing Maruti Suzuki's leadership position.
With Ritz, MSIL aims to consolidate its leadership in the highly competitive compact car segment. The company commands the largest market share of 58 per cent in the A2 segment.
Ritz is Maruti's eighth new model within 48 months following the launch of Swift, Zen Estilo, SX4, Swift Diesel, Grand Vitara, Swift Dzire and A-star.
