Reduce Govt Spending and it's flab but not targeted subsidies for poor, bring free market economics in agricultural sector (do the telecom way as only big guys can bring economy of scale to give farmer - the direct access to market), and cut taxes on all category of people including rich. I am including rich because it's my experience that if the rich guy budget goes up, he lays off people in unorganized sector.

Inflation could be due to imbalance in agriculture produce & distribution system or due to rapid industrial growth. For the imbalance in agriculture produce and distribution, Govt. is directly responsible and Minister and his Babus should be sacked. Similarly inflation due to high growth could be accepted but, decline in growth and increase in inflation is not acceptable. Too much Govt. interference seems to be the main cause for such inflation.

WHILE AT FARMER'S LEVEL THE PRICES HAVEN'T GONE UP AT APPRECIABLE LEVEL, THE INCREASE FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR STAGE TO RETAILER AND THE ULTIMATE CONSUMER. WHILE HOARDING OF STOCKS IS ONE ASPECT, THE OTHER ASPECT IS 'PAY-OFFs' BY THEM TO THE RULERS. EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT THE CORRUPTION LEVEL HAS GOME UP AT A VERY HIGH PITCH AND IT'S CONTINUING TO GROW. GOVT. SHOULD SET UP A COMMITTEE, WHICH SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE POLITICIANS(MAINLY MOST CORRUPT) TO STUDY AND GIVE SUGGESTIONS TO PREVENT SUCH PRACTICES. THE COMMITTEE SHOULD BE GIVEN ALL THE POWERS TO OPEN-UP PANDORA BOX AND BE PRACTICAL IN THEIR APPROACH. SOME BODY HAS TO BELL THE CAT.
