New Delhi: The Association of Unified Telecom Service Provider of India (AUSPI) has welcomed the judgment of the telecom tribunal to uphold the Government’s decision to permit dual technology.
AUSPI is the industry body representing the interests of the CDMA operators including Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices. Both these operators have taken dual technology licence.
“AUSPI welcomes the judgment of the tribunal which clearly vindicates the AUSPI stand that development of technology and its applications for the benefit of the subscribers can not be stopped and establishes once again that frivolous issues are being raised by COAI to thwart competition and fair play,” said S.C. Khanna, Secretary General, AUSPI.
