Ajit cemented his standing as the number one opener in Kollywood with
his latest slick action movie Billa which soared past lofty
expectations as it opened to an unbelievable 97 percent from 10
Chennai screens. It is the second best opening in the history of CBO,
and Ajit's finest opening! In Mount Road area, the film opened in four
screens- Sathyam, Inox, Woodlands and Albert and in three days did 48
shows and reported 100 percent! Truly incredible, Ajit is the king of
kings!
Actually Billa, would be number 1 to 5 in our CBO, because the
rest of the movies put together do not match up to its collections! At
number two is Will Smith's action adventure I am Legend, which
opened impressively with 85 percent in six Chennai screens. And at
three is Vel, in the fourth position is Polladhavan and
in fifth position is last weeks number one Kaloori which has
crashed.
