>> Fullstory K.G.Vijaykrishnan's CD released Tuesday, 12 December , 2006, 14:46 Audio CD 'Karpagame', comprising Veena compositions, was released on December 7, 2006 at Music Academy. K.G.Vijayakrishanan, hailing from Hyderabad, is an English and Linguistics Professor. Mathioli R.Saraswathy of Nandalala Seva Samithi Trust released the Audio CD. The first copy was received by N.Murali, Managing Director and President of the Music Academy. K.G.Vijayakrishnan is also writing a book on Carnatic music titled 'The Grammar of Carnatic Music'. It is yet to be released. Reputed Veena Vidushi Kalpagam Swaminathan and vocalist Sanjay Subramaniam were also present at the CD release function. The CD is priced at Rs.175.
