Both BJP and Congress are not trustworthy See the voter turnout. People have no intrest. Congress who are loosing grounds but does not want to learn fast its mistakes. BJP who was showing that it is bringing fresh today is cought up with similar disease as congress.
Voters have no choice.
Unfortunately congree is not able to project boldy is new image. Thier old people keep pulling the congree down whenever it tries to something different.
BJP understaood that its ideology is not acceptable to all to started changing its face with same soul. They also know that BJP, RSS and other hindu fanatics are unhappy that they are compramising too much. The presence of 22 plus parties makes BJP and PM uneasy as they have to keep happy most of the partners as they dont have majority of thier own.
This time with Vajpayee projected PM and also most acceptable, BJP saw that people and many leaders moved towards BJP. This made BJP confident and also parallely they were asking people to be decisive.
Now after 1st phase of election some myths of BJP are shaken and again they are preaching coalation and giving clear picture even this 22 party combine could be short of majority and so they wish to add some more parties in the bandwagon by giving some sops to some more smaller parties as opposition is united.
