The UAE-headquartered Atlantic Care Chemicals will set up a chemical cleaning
products manufacturing plant at Kochi in Kerala with an investment of Rs 1.5 crore
to cater to the domestic market and SAARC countries.
Talking to newspersons here today, Company CEO Mohd Kunju said the products
manufactured in the plant would be used in professional laundries, five star
and other food processing units, automobile care, oil refining and petroleum
product manufacturers.
The first of its plant in India would be in addition to the already existing
R and D facility in Kochi, he said.
It had tied up with Gulf India Trade to market its products in India. The plant
had a capacity to produce ten tonnes per day of chemical cleaning products both
in liquid and powder form.
The plant would become operational next month and the Company was looking at
a revenue of Rs six crore in the first year, he said, adding that it aimed at
Rs 50 crore revenue by 2010.
