The concert begins with the everpopular Ata Tala Varnam in Kaanada. Following this is the rendition of Sri Mahaganapathi in Natai (by Mayuram Viswanatha Sastry) though not so impressive was prinkled with a few swaras. The next piece in Pantuvarali was an excellent presentaion. The choice was Raunimaravakave in Adi Talam This Thyagaraja's krithi was given superb treatment with neraval and kalpanaswaras. Rara Raghuveera in Atana follows. A flash of this ragam both by Santhanam and Lalgudi Jayaraman are very impressive. A marvellous Shankarabaranam raga alapana by the vocalist and violinist follows for Manasu Swatheena by Thyagaraja in Misra Chapu Talam. Shanmukhapriya has been chosen as the main piece, with ragam neraval and swaras for Marivere Dikkevarayya Rama (Patnam Subramania Iyer). The last score in this cassette is a Thillana in Basant Behar composed by Maharajapuram Santhanam himself
