Delightful Divines
Price:
Amutham Music has released an album sung by O.S.Arun.

This cassette has around 10 songs, all presented like Bhajans in a melodious way. The songs are "Gajamukhanai" in raga Hamsadwani and "Garuda Gamana"in raga Gowrimanohari. There is also "Yar Adinar." This is a padam in raga Charukesi. "Aanika Doosara" sounds like a ghazal. It is quite good to listen and it is in praise of Lord Panduranga.

"Yele Madhava" is again sung with devotion. Next is "Senthil Andavan." This is a Papanasam Sivan composition in raga Kharaharapriya. This is followed by "Chinna Chinna" in praise of Krishna. Songs like "Dasaratha nandana", "Saga Varam" and "Yenda Gani" (folklore), though sound light, are sung with commitment. Arun has focused more on the melody of Sahitya and he has presented these songs in a distinct style.
