Tejass may prove a big draw among music lovers. For, Nityasree Mahadevan has chosen popular Carnatic melody songs in this album. Side A of the cassettes contains three kritis. There is "Saravana Bhava" (Raag Shanmukha Priya), a Papanasam Sivan composition. Then follows the famous "Naghumomu"(Raag Abheri) composed by the great Saint Tyagaraja. Nityashree gives a crisp alapana before rendering this kriti. Then comes Paal Vadiyam Mukham (Raag Nattakurunji). It is an Oothukadu Venkata Subbaiar's kriti.
Side B gives a lift to the album with the presentation of the Tyagaraja kritis like "Nee Daya Radha"(Raag Vasantha Bhairavi) and "Brochevarevarura"(Raag Khamas) interspersed with a lively rendition of swaras. Then she goes on to present "Sri Chakara Raja"(Ragamalika :Senchurutti, Punnagavarali, Nadhanamakriya and Sindhu Bhairavi), composed by Sage Agasthiyar. A "Thillana" (Raag Basanth Bahar) composed by Maharajapuram Santhanam follows. The Album ends with "Hariharathmajam" sloka in Raag Madhyamavathy.
