`Rama Rajyam’ is the latest audio release to hit the market. Comprising the Kritis of Saint Tyagaraja, it is produced by Amutham Music Private Ltd. Vocalist Smt.Sudha Raghunathan has rendered these Kritis.
The cassettee contains 10 Kritis composed by the Saint. Side A start with “Ninne Bhajana” in raga Nattai and Adi Tala. It is followed by “Nadhathanumanisham” in raga Chittaranjani and Adi Tala. Then there are four more Kritis - “Naradha Muni” in raga Pantuvarali and Adi(tisranadai), “Evaritho” in Manavathi and Adi tala, “Seetha Pathi” in Kamas and Adi tala and Yagnadhulu in Jayamanohari and Adi tala.
Side B has four Kritis consisting of “Ninnadanela” in Kannada with Adi Tala, “Tulasamma” in Devagandhari with Adi Tala, “Kantajoodumi” in Vachaspathi with Adi Tala and, finally, “Ksheera Sagara” in Ananda Bhairavi with Jhampa Tala.
Sudha Raghunathan has decorated the album with crisp kalpana swaras and Alapana.
Embar S.Kannan has given adequate violin support. Mannargudi A.Easwaran plays the Mridhangam, S.V.Ramani the Ghatam and P.Raman the Muharsingh.
The cassette is priced at Rs.50.
