The nine days of Navaratri are celebrated in honour of the same goddess who is called by three different names. The second chunk of three days is celebrated by praying to the all-pervasive goddess with the name Lakshmi!
She is the goddess who is supposed to give us wealth and pleasures in this life. When the goddess of the second three days - Lakshmi - is prayed to, the planet Venus (Sukra) can be appeased, as Lakshmi is the devtha for Venus (Sukra).
Venus is the God of love. Venus is the planet that relieves one from the problems of non-compatibility between married couples.
Romance and success in love are possible only by the strength of Venus.
If we give importance to women folk in the second three days it will indirectly be a puja for Lakshmi and in other words a good remedy for a weak Venus (Sukra) position in the horoscope.

The numerological number of Venus (Sukra) is 6. Those who are born in this birth number (i.e. in the dates 6, 15, and 24) will surely stand to gain by the second part of Navaratri (which is Lakshmi puja) if they are very sincere in praying to Mahalakshmi.
